Wrapping Up 05-06

That was a quick year. Perhaps it's because of all the new things I was doing, perhaps because we started so early and May just seems ridiculously short. In any case, I think I can speak for many here at York: "I'm ready for summer."

The irony is that Mr. Byrd and I hope to do quite a few tech-related things over the break. Beyond making an official campus inventory of software / hardware, working on the tech plan, and trying to upgrade some of the campus servers, we hope to improve student and faculty off-site access to on-campus files, enable web forms for collecting information through www1, and learn a bit about video editing. Actually, our summer to-do list extends beyond these things, but I don't want to get your hopes up: we often bite off more than we can reasonably chew.
