More on Photos

Inside York can't have too many photos. That's my philosophy, anyway. New images keep people coming back to the site and (with any luck) convey more about the positive things happening on campus than words ever could.

In the last blog, I included a commerical ad to encourage people to contribute photos. Most of the images I posted this fall in Inside York were, in fact, ones I had taken. I'm content with them, but I'd love to see more variety in both style and content. We need shots of basketball, art classes, dances, jazz band, science labs, etc.... and I won't be attending every event. So, yes, if you have some photos worth sharing, send them to ctorg@york.org and I'll be happy to post them. If you remind me, I'll even include a tag crediting you with the shot.

On the other hand, if there is an image of yourself on the site that you don't really appreciate, know that I'm certainly willing to remove it. I try to publish photos that are reasonably complimentary, but (as someone who doesn't much like my face plastered anywhere) I would hate to offend or embarrass anyone. Obviously, I won't publish anything I consider tasteless, but it's possible that your tastes differ from mine. If that's the case, please send me a note. I'll remove the objectionable image as quickly as possible.
